breaks my heart. i don't know if there's anything i care about as much as this issue and it seriously, seriously breaks my heart every time it goes to popular vote and fails. apparently people don't believe in equal rights as much as they pretend to.

Me too...it's just one issue that I absolutely CANNOT see the other point of view on. It's just plain mean. I can't believe we think it's our job to enumerate other people's rights. It makes me ill.
