While walking Ray today, a girl said to me "Is that dog your prom date? Cause he's SO PRETTY!"
I guess he is pretty gorgeous.

With an air of apology
Like the kid in class who's too afraid to raise his hand
Because he might say something stupid
but there is a strange poetry
disjointed grace in his gawky limbs
a quiet assuredness in his step
as if he knows
that he was once
a winner.
